Sgt. Maj. Micheal P. Barrett, Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps Micheal P. Barrett, the 17th sergeant major of the Marine Corps, talks to Marines and sailors at Camp Schwab’s theater, June 13. He and Gen. James F. Amos, 35th commandant of the Marine Corps, were on Okinawa as part of a seven-day tour of the Pacific Region. The two went on to talk with Marines and sailors at Camps Hansen Kinser and were scheduled to talk with Marines and sailors at Camp Courtney and Marine Corps Air Station Futenma June 14 before departing for MCAS Iwakuni on mainland Japan.
