U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Dylan Mackiewicz, 20, a data network specialist and native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with Communications Platoon, Headquarters and Service Company, Battalion Landing Team, 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, was awarded the first Marine In The Spotlight award aboard the dock landing ship USS Oak Hill (LSD 51), while underway in the Atlantic Ocean, Feb. 17, 2018.
