180216-N-SF984-0003 PEARL HARBOR (Feb. 16, 2018) Operations Specialist 2nd Class David Artellano, from Chicago, assigned to Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Dewey (DDG 105), looks through a telescopic alidade on the ship's port bridge wing as the ship pulls into Pearl Harbor for a port visit. Dewey is on a scheduled deployment to conduct operations in the Indo-Pacific region. It will also support the Wasp Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG) in order to advance U.S. Pacific Fleet's Up-Gunned ESG concept and will train with forward-deployed amphibious ships across all mission areas.
