Two U.S. Marine CH-53E Super Stallions fly over the beach, while two Royal Thai Marine assault amphibious vehicles make landfall during an amphibious assault exercise on Hat Yao Beach, Rayong Province, Thailand, Feb. 17, 2018 during Exercise Cobra Gold 2018. The CH-53Es provided assault support for the ground forces. Exercise Cobra Gold is one of the largest exercises in the Indo-Pacific region and improves the capabilities of participating nations in the event of a regional contingency or natural disaster.
