Soldiers from 1st “Rhino” Platoon, Bravo Company, 145th Brigade Support Battalion, 116th Cavalry Brigade Combat Team, Idaho National Guard, prepare Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicles for a run from Forward Operating Base Union III to Victory Base Complex during a dust storm. Rhino platoon conducts missions to transport personnel and cargo to and from Victory Base Complex and the International Zone. The Idaho National guardsmen, currently supporting Operation New Dawn as part of the 18th Airborne Corps’ Task Force Dragon, are based out of Post Falls and Lewiston, Idaho.
