An LCAC, Landing Craft Air Cushioned, rushes past Navy Ship LHA-4 USS Nassau in the Persian Gulf on April 12. The LCAC was ferrying Marines from shore to a Dock Landing Ship. The Marines were returning from Iraq. While in transit, they were billeted at Camp Patriot, a facility run for the Army by the Air force in a Request for Forces arrangement. (photo by Staff Sgt.
