Brigadier General David W. Maxwell, the commanding general of 2nd Marine Logistics Group, asks questions following his walk-through of the battalion aid station at Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport, Calif., Feb. 7, 2018. The visit enabled Maxwell to observe the well-being and readiness of the unit preceding their training iteration where they learned survival skills, how to traverse mountainous terrain and cold weather weapons maintenance.
