At a joint and combined services air show, Cpl. Blake Childree, data network specialist from Skipperville, Ala., Black Sea Rotational Force 11, surrounded by Romanian locals around a humvee for a U.S. Marines static display, featuring pull-up bars and military rations, helps a child into the “gunner’s seat” of a humvee to give him a first-hand look at a 50-caliber machine gun. Marines from Black Sea Rotational Force-11 participated in a “Thunder Over Constanta” air show along with U.S. Air Force Demonstration Squadron, the Thunderbirds, and several Romanian aerial demonstration squadrons, June 8 to display Romanian and U.S. air capabilities to the locals in the area.
