Soldiers with the 347th Regional Support Group assemble at the Minneapolis Convention Center on Feb. 10 to conduct a Family Preparation Academy in advance of a deployment to Kuwait later next month. In all, 39 Soldiers from Headquarters & Headquarters Company will leave their families to support Operation Freedom Sentinel and bring base operations expertise to the theater. The Family Preparation Academy kicked off with a ceremony attended by several Minnesota legislative leaders, and was followed by various break-out sessions to provide skills and resources for families preparing for separation.
