Petty Officer 2nd Class Justin McMillen, assigned to Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit 2, maneuvers a sunken ship's screw before lifting it to the surface. Lift bags are used to lift objects off ocean floor by utilizing air to fill the bag and lift the sunken object. MDSU-2 is participating in Navy Diver-Southern Partnership Station, a multinational partnership engagement designed to increase interoperability and partner nation capacity through diving operations.
