From left to right, Army cross country teammates Sgt. Esther Spradling (Fort Bragg, N.C.), 1st Lt. Jennifer Comfort (Scott AFB, Ill.), Maj. Kelly Calway (West Point, N.Y.), Staff Sgt. Claudia McNally (Fort Bragg, N.C.), Spec. Susan Tanui (Fort Carson, Colo.), and Maj. Nicole Solana (JB Lewis-McChord, Wash.), raise the number one after the 2018 Armed Forces Cross Country Championship in Tallahassee, Florida, on 3 February to signify their championship. The Army women’s team led by Susan Tanui, continued their cross-country dominance by winning the championship for the 4th consecutive year, with the Air Force team finishing in 2nd and the Marines in 3rd.
