The Puerto Rico National Guard along with the Puerto Rico State Guard’s 900th Medical Group and several other support institutions visited the Jorge B. “Jamito” Rivera Landau Sports Complex in Barrio Cedro Arriba, municipality of Naranjito, Puerto Rico, Feb. 3. Hosted by the mayor of Naranjito, Hon. Orlando Ortiz Chevres, who is also a member of the PRNG, they set up a Health Prevention clinic and food and water distribution site on location to impact the local residents and neighboring municipalities. The Adjutant General of Puerto Rico, Brig. Gen. Isabelo Rivera, addressed the hundreds present with his welcoming remarks encouraging all to take advantage of all services offered during the event and to the kids to enjoy the fun in store for them. There was plenty of action for the children to enjoy like: games, popcorn, inflatable jumping castles and the Payarockers clowns show among other fun activities. Enlisted Soldiers and officers alike were also giving a helping hand to the elderly and to those not being able to carry their supplies during this event.
La Guardia Nacional de Puerto Rico junto al Grupo Médico 900 del Comando Estatal de Puerto Rico y otros grupos de apoyo se dieron cita en el Complejo Deportivo Jorge B. “Jamito” Rivera Landau en el Barrio Cedro Arriba del municipio de Naranjito, Puerto Rico, feb. 3. Teniendo al Hon. Alcalde de Naranjito, Orlando Ortiz Chevres, como anfitriόn y quen es a su vez también miembro de la GNPR, montaron allí una Clínica de Salud Preventiva junto a un centro de distribuciόn de suministros para impactar a la comunidad local y municipios aledaños. El Ayudante General de Puerto Rico, el General de Brigada, Isabelo Rivera, se dirigiό a los cientos presentes exhortándolos a que se aprovechen de todos los servicios ofrecidos durante el evento y a los niños que disfruten de todas las actividades para ellos. Hubo mucha actividad para la diversiόn de los niños como: juegos, palomitas de maiz, castillos inflables y la presentaciόn de los payasos Los Payarockers entre otras actividades. Oficiales y alistados trabajaron juntos para ofrecer la ayuda de un brazo fuerte a los envejecientes y aquellos que necesitaban ayuda para cargar sus suministros durante el evento.
