Maj. Mark Crimaldi, deputy commander of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Recovery Field Office(RCO)-Puerto Rico, recognized Timothy Rainey, an operations project manager from the Mobile District.
During Rainey's 55 days deployed in support of the Federal Emergency Management Agency-led Hurricane Maria / Hurricane Irma response and recovery effort in Puerto Rico, he served as the RCO's operations chief. With Rainey coordinating its operations, the RCO managed Corps temporary power, temporary roofing, debris and critical public facilities projects to assist the island to recover from the two September 2017 hurricanes.
He lives in Marietta, Georgia.
