Capt. Marilyn Cowles, physician assistant, Brigade Support Medical Company, 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division and Capt. Travis Hawks, brigade surgeon, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st SBCT, 25th ID participate in a two-day training course to ensure medical providers can conduct forensic exams on sexual assault victims. During the training, Cowles and Hawks perform a forensic exam, using a mannequin to simulate the victim.
