Drill instructors from Mike Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, storm into a squad bay during a senior drill instructor inspection at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Dec. 21. The drill instructors inspected the recruit’s weapons and tested them on the knowledge they have learned so far at recruit training. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Mike Company is scheduled to graduate Feb. 23.
