Recruits from Mike Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, wait to be inspected during the senior drill instructor inspection at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Dec. 21. During the inspection, recruits have their weapons and uniforms inspected by their drill instructors. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Mike Company is scheduled to graduate Feb. 23.
