U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Jacob Gibbons, 532nd Expeditionary Operations Support Squadron, hits a softball to the outfield during a game May 27, 2011, at Al Asad Air Base, Iraq. The service members assigned to the installation regularly work 12-hour shifts, seven days a week. Playing a game of softball helps them maintain high morale at a location that sees operations come to a stand-still during dust storms in western Al Anbar province.
