CAMP FOSTER, OKINAWA, Japan – Brig. Gen. Paul Rock Jr. signs the Military Saves Proclamation Jan. 31 aboard Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan. Military Saves is traditionally a week-long event but Marine Corps Community Services extended the event to a month to stress the importance for service members to understand their finances. Marines and their families can go to one of the free scheduled financial classes hosted by MCCS or they can set up an appointment with a financial advisor. Rock is the commanding general of Marine Corps Installations Pacific and Marine Corps Base Camp Butler. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Pfc. Kelcey Seymour)
