A 1st Battalion, 1st Security Force Assistance Brigade combat advisor talks to a simulated Afghan National Defense Security Forces commander through an interpreter about conflict in a fictional town, Jan. 24, 2018, as part of rotation 18-03 at the Joint Readiness Training Center, Fort Polk, La. The JRTC rotation is being conducted in order to prepare the newly formed 1st SFAB for an upcoming deployment to Afghanistan in the spring of 2018.
