U.S. Army 1st Lt. Riley Kramer, with Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve, takes a photo with Iraqi army officials in Taji, Iraq on Jan. 20, 2018, about the delivery of the Border Guard in a Box systems. This equipment has been delivered to the Iraqi army from the U.S. in support of the overall mission to deter remnants of ISIS to cross through the Iraqi borders. The U.S. provides training and equipment to vetted Iraqi security forces through the National Defense Authorization Act FY 2015; Iraq Train and Equip Fund. Training and equipment is in support of the Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve mission to defeat and deny ISIS safe havens by creating and enabling Iraqi forces to defend and secure their country from terrorism.(U.S Army photo by Spc.
