Sgt. Maj. Raymond Moran (Ret.), affectionately known as the "Old Soldier," poses for a portrait in his home in Odenton, Maryland, while sharing stories about his military commitment to the U.S. Army and the Army Reserve during 65 years of service both as an enlisted Soldier and as a Department of the Army civilian. Moran served in Korea, Vietnam, Japan, Cambodia and Desert Storm. He was instrumental in standing up the 220th Military Police Brigade, which has since become the 200th MP Command and is the largest military police organization in the Department of Defense.
