Austin Lewis, Charlene Perez and Jake Serrano-McEwen train in the lab at CRDAMC as part of the second phase of the Army’s 12-month Medical Laboratory Technicians (68K) Advanced Individual Training program. The second phase of the course includes hands-on, real-world training and is completed at a major medical treatment facility after the initial six months of didactic learning at the Military Education Training Center, Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
