A Force Reconnaissance Marine with Maritime Raid Force, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit assesses a simulated casualty during a ground assault in Guam, January 20, 2018, during Realistic Urban Training Exercise. RUTEX provides an instrumental, tailored training opportunity which helps hone their ability to operate in urban environments in preparation for the 31st MEU’s regularly-scheduled Spring Patrol 2018.
