MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. - Soldiers with the Western Army Infantry Regiment, Japan Ground Self Defense Force, enter a building from a stack formation during Military Operations on Urban Terrain training during exercise Iron Fist 2018, Jan. 17. When clearing a building, team members work together to maximize their deadly force while protecting each other. Iron Fist is an annual, bilateral training exercise held in Southern California between the U.S. Marine Corps and the JGSDF.
