MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. – A Soldier with the Western Army Infantry Regiment, Japan Ground Self Defense Force, stands at the ready during Military Operations on Urban Terrain training during exercise Iron Fist 2018, Jan. 17. Iron Fist is an annual, bilateral training exercise where U.S. and Japanese service members train together and share techniques, tactics and procedures to improve their combined operational capabilities.
