Service members and Marine Memorial Chapel staff from Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni play “head, shoulders, knees and toes” with local Japanese preschool students during a community relations event at Iwakuni City, Japan, Jan. 11, 2018. Service members and chapel staff read books, danced and played games with students, such as “head, shoulders, knees and toes”, tug-of-war and dodgeball. Volunteers with the chapel visit local schools four times a month to give back to the community, build trust and foster positive interactions between service members and the local Japanese community.
