Alexander, commander of U.S. 3rd Fleet, to the podium, as a guest speaker during Whitman's Retirement Ceremony, aboard the USS Battleship Missouri Memorial at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam. Whitman retires as the 17th Fleet Master Chief of the U.S. Pacific Fleet after more than 32 years of Naval Service.
