The U.S. Air Force Aerial Demonstration Squadron “Thunderbirds” team members prepare for takeoff at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland Kelly Field Annex prior to the 2017 JBSA Air Show and Open House Nov. 4, 2017. Air Shows allow the Air Force to display the capabilities of our aircraft to the American taxpayer through aerial demonstrations and static displays. Kelly Field’s Air show allows attendees to get up close and personal to see some of the equipment and aircraft used by the U.S. military today.
