AEGEAN SEA (Jan. 4, 2018) Seaman Sean Lischke mans an M240B machine gun on the bridge wing of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Carney (DDG 64) while underway in the Aegean Sea. Carney, forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, is on its fourth patrol in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations in support of regional allies and partners, and U.S. national security interests in Europe.
