U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Nicholas Adams rushes a doorway during military operations in urban terrain training in Okinawa, Japan, Dec. 28, 2017. MOUT training was conducted to increase the unit’s survivability and lethality while operating in an urban environment. Adams, a Toledo, Ohio native, is an infantry automatic rifle gunner with Kilo Co., 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment.
