The 155th Armored Brigade Combat Team memorializes the passing of Sgt. Kyle Thomas on their unit rock at the "rockpile" just outside the main gate as Fort Irwin, California. Thomas, of Company A, 2nd Battalion, 198th Armored Regiment, was tragically killed in a training accident May 29, 2017 at the National Training Center during the unit's rotation.
