171006-N-CL027-084 HONG KONG HARBOR (Oct. 6, 2017) – Deck department Sailors wash the anchor chain in the forecastle of the Navy's forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), as the ship retrieves the anchor after a scheduled port visit in Hong Kong. During the port visit, Sailors participated in community relations events; Morale, Welfare and Recreation tours; and sporting events with Hong Kong residents. Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interests of its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
