Michael Throm, a chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear specialist with 3rd Platoon, 181st CBRN Company helps to secure the perimeter during practical field exercises March 2 at Fort Hood. Throm and other members of his unit used the multi-day exercise to field test new, portable CBRN detection devices and kits.
