Rod DeWalt, deputy commander of Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC). MDSU ONE provides combat ready, expeditionary, rapidly deployable Mobile Diving and Salvage Detachments (MDSD) to conduct harbor clearance, salvage, underwater search and recovery, and underwater emergency repairs in any environment.
