Crew chiefs from the United States Air Force Thunderbirds receive their jets after arriving here prior to the Joint Service Open House May 16. The Thunderbirds are the premiere air-demonstration squadron of the Air Force and are based at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas, Nev. The squadron tours the United States and much of the world, performing aerobatic formations and solo flying.
