ATLANTIC OCEAN (Dec. 14, 2017) The forward close-in weapons system fires off the port side of the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7). Iwo Jima recently completed a Combined Composite Training Unit Exercise and is underway preparing its scheduled deployment early next year.
