Tech. Sgt. Charles Woods, crew chief with the 123rd Contingency Response Element, awaits the arrival of two inbound C-130 Hercules from Louisville, Ky., May 17, during the National Level Exercise in Springfield, Mo. Woods will then marshal the planes into their parking spots allowing civil authorities to practice loading and unloading mannequins into the C-130s. The NLE is comprised of federal civil authorities supported by the Department of Defense. The NLE itself is a scenario of a 6.0 or higher earthquake on the New Madrid fault line.
