U.S. Marines with the USMC shooting team compete against various units throughout Okinawa during the team shooting portion of the Far East Annual Marksmanship Competition on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, on Dec. 12, 2017. The purpose of the competition is to improve the marksmanship, proficiency, and combat readiness of the Marine Corps as well as provide an opportunity to win a reward and advance to the Marine Corps Championship in Quantico, Virginia.
