U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Ronnie L. Jones, a scout team leader with 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, sprints to the next objective during a course of fire as a part of the Far East Annual Marksmanship Competition on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, on Dec. 8, 2017. The purpose of the competition is to improve the marksmanship, proficiency, and combat readiness of the Marine Corps as well as provide an opportunity to win a reward and advance to the Marine Corps Championship in Quantico, Virginia.
