Debbie Moritz, National Alliance of Mental Illness - Bucks County chapter executive director, hands a check to retired Chief Master Sgt. Jenny Pappas, Horsham Air Guard Station Friends of the Family Readiness Group president, Dec. 2, 2017 at Horsham AGS, Pa. The gift was reciprocation for the 111th Attack Wing’s participation in the first March for the 22, an event intended to bring awareness to the daily loss of 22 U.S. veterans to suicide. On Oct. 22, 22 men and women carrying 22-pound rucksacks marched 22 kilometers – from Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, Pa., to the Doylestown courthouse, Doylestown, Pa. The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, Post 175, Doylestown, was also involved in the march and is represented in the photo by Kurt Mueller, far right. Anna Richar, 111th ATKW Airman & Family Readiness Center, stands with 111th ATKW Commander Col. William Griffin, both on left.
