Flames from the Thomas Fire in Ventura County, California, are seen as Sgt. Anthony Orduno, a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter crew chief from the California Army National Guard's B Company, 1st Battalion, 140th Aviation Regiment, looks on while flying overhead Sat., Dec. 9, 2017. Orduno and the helicopter crew spent the day dropping water on the fire in coordination with CAL FIRE.
