The coalition in conjunction with the Government of Afghanistan, world aid agencies and non-governmental organizations air dropped almost 50,000 pounds of legumes, wheat and biscuits via C-130 Hercules aircraft to the Tulak and Saghar district centers in the Ghor Province Feb. 24 and 25 to combat the affects of the harsh winter.
