171206-N-AZ808-1184 ARABIAN GULF (Dec. 6, 2017) Sailors assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Halsey (DDG 97) handle line during a replenishment-at-sea with the dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Matthew Perry (T-AKE 9). Halsey is deployed with the Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations to reassure allies and partners and preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region.
