A U.S. Air Force F-35A Lightning II assigned to Hill Air Force Base, Utah taxis after landing at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Nov. 27, 2017. The F-35As deployed to Kadena AB, Japan, in October as a part of U.S. Pacific Command’s Theater Security Package program. The ability to “Accept Follow-on Forces” is one of the primary mission sets of the 8th Fighter Wing at Kunsan, and enables the wing’s ability to carry out its “Take the Fight North” mission.
