U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Amin Valdes, the R.G. Robinson Mess Hall manager, pours hot apple cider into a cup during a holiday tree lighting at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, Dec. 2, 2017. The tree lighting brought Japanese locals and Americans together for a holiday celebration.
