Sgt. Sebastian R. Ugalde, a helicopter rope suspension training instructor with Special Operations Training Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, III MEF checks the tension in the rope that Masanori Goya, a firefighter with Marine Corps Bases Japan Fire Department, rigged to the rappel tower April 6. The firefighters were tested on techniques the HRST instructors taught them to enhance high-angle rescue skills.
