Sgt. 1st Class, Nigza Crespo, a platoon sergeant for 2nd Platoon, Company B, 296th Military Police Company attached to Joint Task Force Guantanamo, collected and donated approximately 15,000 water bottle caps to a program focused on finding a cure for cancer. She heard about the program from her son Orlando Virella, a junior at Sierra Vista High School in Nevada. Orlando was participating in a local recycling drive to help cancer patients and find a cure.
