SAN ANTONIO – (Dec. 2, 2017) Brightwood College graduate, Corey Wade, a future Sailor with Navy Recruiting Station Mercado, participated in the sit-up competition during a Navy Recruiting District San Antonio’s Mega Delayed Entry Program Field Meet held at Winston Churchill High School. More than 250 future Sailors from Navy Recruiting Stations Mercado, Hollywood Park, De Zavala, Ingram, Northeast, Southeast, and South San Antonio, along with their recruiters and headquarters personnel participated in the quarterly event. The Navy’s DEP is a program whereby individuals enlisting into the naval service participate by attending mandatory meetings which are designed to help them get ready for recruit training.
