Rear Adm. James H. Rodman (left) Chief Engineer, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) provides opening remarks at the 49th National Junior Science and Humanities Symposium. High school science students from around the country and overseas DoD schools toured various military facilities in San Diego and celebrated their achievements in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) throughout the week of April 25.
As the Navy's Information Dominance Systems Command, SPAWAR strongly encourages all students to explore careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields.
