From an abandoned building in Mosul, Spc. Jeff Newberry overlooks Mosul. In January, the specialist saved two fellow Soldiers and an Iraqi police officer. For his heroism, he received the Soldier?s Medal on July 11. Newberry is a member of Company A, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division (Stryker Brigade Combat Team).
